Metaphor worked for over a year with the Globe to develop the masterplan to guide and shape the development to future-proof its position as a leading centre for the study of Shakespeare in performance.

The Site will be developed in two main phases, with Phase 1 focusing on the completion of an Indoor Jacobean Theatre on the east side of the site. Design develoment for Phase 1 has already begun. Phase 2 will follow and focus on the west side of the site with a new Library and Archive at the heart.
