Metaphor were asked to work with the Science Museum team to review the Phase I Masterplan: the current status, the major gallery projects achieved to date and the projects in train. In addition we identified the remaining spaces that are underused and available for visitor-facing activities, reviewed the spatial syntax and vertical circulation and addressed outstanding DDA issues. We also identified areas which needed more in-depth reviews, these included the Welcome Wing, the Great Hall, the Flight Gallery and the distribution of visitor services.
