In 2012 the Ministry for Culture, Youth and Sport (MoCYS) for South Sudan invited Metaphor to help create a cultural destination in Juba that will contribute to building civil society in the newest country in the World.
 

Our proposal, developed entirely though conversations with South Sudanese people, is for a cultural park housing a museum, archive, sports facilities and a theatre. The theatre, redolent of a large circular house, will be a focus for peace building though performing arts following decades of war. This is a multi-agency project between MoCYS, the British Council and UNESCO.
