Metaphor were asked to lead a series of visits to the Casa, its district and the museum store, as well as facilitating workshops with key partners and stakeholders to redefine the Casa’s Vision for the future.
Many representatives were invited to attend and, although not everyone could attend every session, the progress was shared with each group at the beginning of each workshop. Flip chart sheets were pinned up to record the evolution of ideas, which were tested iteratively and progressively as the week unfolded. By the end of the week a clear and shared Vision was produced encompassing all aspects of museum making, front-of-house, back-of-house, displays, non-display activities and the outline business case.
