2012: Feasibility Study

Metaphor were appointed to carry out a feasibility study covering 6 phases of work including design proposals for the Internal Signage and Visitor Orientation; appraise the existing and potential Display Areas; develop shared ideas for the redesign of the Heritage Display, Education Room, Roman Amphitheatre and Main Entrance. 

2014: Exhibition Design

As a result of this feasibility study, the City of London asked Metaphor to see two of these projects through to construction. One was to improve the display areas with new wall linings and lighting, the second was the creation of a new Heritage Gallery and Education Room.
